Returns & Repairs

Return Policy

We want to make sure you are happy with your purchase. If you receive an item and it is not what you expected, please give us a call so we can issue a return authorization number. When you send back the item, please do so within 30 days, and include the return authorization number. Include all packaging, instructions, and the item in sellable condition, and we will refund your purchase price.

If the item does not include the packaging, instructions, or other, it may be subject to a 15% restocking fee.

We try our best to only offer items of a very high quality. But, if in the unfortunate event you receive an item that is defective, call as soon as you discover the problem to receive a return authorization number. Send back the defective item, and we will send out a replacement free of charge.

Just a note: It is a good idea to insure your package. Destinations… The Travel Store cannot be held responsible for uninsured mailings.

Repair Information

If your luggage is in need of repair, just give us a call, and we can set you up with the contact information of an authorized repair center for your luggage. Some luggage companies even cover airline damage in their warranty!

When sending your luggage to an authorized repair center, make sure to include the following information: Include your name, address, and telephone number. Indicate the brand of bag you have, what its style number is, and its color. Indicate the repairs you would like done to the bag, and when you need the bag back. (Remember that repairs can often take 3-5 weeks, so send them out early). Also, when you speak with the company or repair center, make sure to keep a record of whom you spoke with, and the phone number and address of where you are sending the bag. Having this information can be handy if you want to call and check on the status of your repair.

If an item other than luggage is in need of repair, give us a call. The item may be covered under warranty, and we can give you the manufacturer’s information to have repairs done, or replacements made.

If in any case you have a problem dealing with a manufacturer for a repair, please let us know. We may be able to help in the process, assisting as your advocate.
